Born on the east coast in Connecticut but raised on the west coast in Oregon, Tim began playing golf at the age of 13 with his family. While Tim experienced success playing many sports competitively, it was the unattainable pursuit of perfection with the game of golf that eventually became Tim's athletic passion.

Tim played collegiate golf at Santa Clara University. While Tim achieved some success as a player, winning three tournaments in college and once as a professional, Tim recognized his true passion was to pass along his knowledge of the game to others through golf instruction.

While operating his own successful golf school on Maui, Hawaii, Tim was given the opportunity to join the team as an LGA Certified Golf Instructor. After completing the LGA certification process, Tim has taught at most of the Leadbetter facilities in North America. He is currently the Director of Golf Instruction at Whistler.

Rated by Golf Digest as one of the best golf teachers in Hawaii in 2006, Tim has also taught internationally, providing junior golf instruction to some of Italy’s most talented players.

Tim has been fortunate enough to teach and have success with students of all age groups on a national level. He hopes to continue to pass along his knowledge to students of all ages, abilities and cultures.
